These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer") and Prasora ("Company", "we", "us"), the parent company of AltENV. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using AltENV, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
AltENV is self-hosted security software distributed as a single binary. It is deployed on the Customer's own infrastructure. AltENV does not operate as a cloud service — all data, API keys, portal credentials, and proxy traffic remain entirely on the Customer's servers. AltENV is available as three products:
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Prasora grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use AltENV in accordance with the purchased product and subscription tier:
The license is scoped to the product purchased and the number of seats, entries, and server instances permitted by your plan. Exceeding these limits requires upgrading to an appropriate tier.
AltENV offers a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, the software will cease to function unless you purchase a subscription. No obligation arises from using the free trial.
Subscription fees are processed via Stripe. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis, either monthly or yearly, depending on the plan selected at checkout. All prices are listed on the AltENV website and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
You are responsible for providing accurate and current payment information. Failed payments may result in suspension of your license.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with AltENV for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund. Refunds are not available after the 30-day window or for renewal charges.
You may not:
AltENV is self-hosted software. All data — including API keys, proxy configurations, portal sessions, and traffic logs — resides exclusively on the Customer's infrastructure. Prasora does not have access to, collect, or process any data stored in or transmitted through your AltENV instance.
The Customer is solely responsible for the security, backup, and management of their own data and infrastructure. This includes the protection of API keys stored within AltENV.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL PRASORA BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.
PRASORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM API KEY LEAKS, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO CUSTOMER INFRASTRUCTURE, OR ANY SECURITY INCIDENTS ON THE CUSTOMER'S SERVERS. THE CUSTOMER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING THEIR OWN DEPLOYMENT.
PRASORA'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your subscription through Stripe or by contacting us. Prasora may terminate your license if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination:
Software updates, including bug fixes, security patches, and new features, are included with an active subscription at no additional cost. Prasora is under no obligation to provide updates after your subscription ends.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the AltENV website. Continued use of the software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
